Dawn Patrol

What is Dawn Patrol?  Well there’s a good question.  All I can tell you is that at the moment it’s Andrew Cole, Dave Jones, Rick Shrowder, Charlie Mussett and David Jowett and we meet in the Upper Room at about 6:15am on Wednesday mornings.

Andrew brings the milk for the tea and coffee and is always on time.  I usually roll up by 6:30am and am usually followed a few minutes later by Dave, Rick and Charlie who are on their way to work.  We are usually away by about 7:30am.

There have been rumours that we are a mens’ prayer group but as I refuse to belong to a mens’ group of any sort on principal, we can’t be.

We do try to give ourselves a bit of structure by reading a book, but not always.  We are currently reading Transform Your Church: 50 Very Practical Steps by Paul Beasley-Murray that Genny mentioned in her Advent Sunday Sermon.

Anyway we are always looking for some new recruits so please come along whoever you are and help give us some direction.
