All Saints’ Youth Committee
All Saint’s has been had a paid Youth Worker since 2002. The Youth Committee was formed at around the same time to support the Worker and share their role of developing Vision and providing Leadership and Oversight for work with children and young people at All Saints’.
We are here to:
- nurture children and young people within our congregations
- encourage and support volunteers working with young people
- help the Church to be welcoming, attractive and safe for children and young people
- reach out to children and young people (local schools, community groups and churches) in the wider community
- pay attention to legal requirements, parish policies and Diocesan guidelines, especially for Child protection and Health and Safety etc
- recruit brilliant youth workers and find the money to pay them!

Those of who aren’t vicars or youth workers are parent/carers of at least 18 children and young people involved with All Saints.
Things we have done:
…OTAS, Slumming it, RATS! Film nights, Evolution, Residential weekends, R-Group, Carol Singing, Christingle, Rounders, Onetruemeaning, activity days, youth on the green, OLD OTAS, Young Saints, beach trips, Make Poverty History, banner making, five-a-side football…
Things we are planning:
Welcome and commissioning of our newly appointed Youth Worker, Tom Onions, 5th September in church
Youth group restart: 14th, 15th & 21st September (link to youth groups timetable?)
