Church Hall Caretaker

I have been employed at All Saints’ Church for the past 15 years; latterly on a part time basis as Caretaker of the Church Hall.  My duties include opening and closing of the Hall on a daily basis; keeping the place clean and tidy; ensuring that the many activities that take place are properly serviced.  The Hall is usually fully booked from 9:00am to about 10:00pm covering a multiple range of groups from scouts, guides, dancing, badminton, children’s and adult’s parties,  Taekwondo and Church events.

On special occasions I assist as Verger in All Saints’ ie Weddings, funerals and during the busy periods of Easter and Christmas.

My main outside interests centre on family; rambling in the countryside with my dog; coin collecting; reading and writing with much of the time left working on my allotment.

Charles’ day off is Wednesday.
