The Pastoral Care Group is concerned with how we care for one another as members of All Saints’ congregations, as neighbours and with those we come into contact with through baptisms, weddings and funerals.
Recently we have established neighbourhood groups throughout the parish to encourage fellowship among those in each area and have also revived a system of welcoming baptism families to church.
The group is in contact with the work of the Spiritual Care Group and the Responsible Care Group and is alert to the situation of those who need to be visited at home. We are aware of the opportunities available for training in areas of pastoral care and have recently held a number of sessions on bereavement care.
It is our aim that all members of All Saints should feel that they are valued and that their pastoral needs are met.
